Mr. Rubin moved for the introduction of all items appearing under the heading Consent Calendar. Ms. Felter seconded the motion. It was unanimously carried by the Council. Bids were received for pad mounted underground switch for electric distribution department. Name of Bidders Gresco

The above bid was referred to the Mayor and appropriate committee for tabulation and recommendation. On a motion of Mr. Rubin and seconded by Ms. Felter the following ordinance was introduced to wit: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE 2024 ADJUSTED MILLAGE RATES ON THE MILLAGE ASSESSMENTS FOR PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA LEVIED UPON THE DOLLAR OF THE ASSESSED VALUE OF ALL PROPERTY SUBJECT TO AD VALOREM TAXATION IN THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO.

On a motion of Mr. Rubin and seconded by Ms. Felter the following ordinance was introduced to wit: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE INCREASE IN THE 2024 ADJUSTED MILLAGE RATES ON THE MILLAGE ASSESSMENTS FOR PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA, BUT NOT IN EXCESS OF THE PRIOR YEAR’S MAXIMUM RATE LEVIED UPON THE DOLLAR OF THE ASSESSED VALUE OF ALL PROPERTY SUBJECT TO AD VALOREM TAXATION IN THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO.

On a motion of Mr. Rubin and seconded by Ms. Felter the following ordinance was introduced to wit: AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT OR AGREEMENT WITH CIVIC PLUS, LLC FOR MUNICODE SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO.

On a motion of Mr. Rubin and seconded by Ms. Felter the following ordinance was introduced to wit: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A COOPERATIVE ENDEAVOR AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF LOUISIANA, OFFICE OF FACILITY PLANNING AND CONTROL, FOR SUGARHOUSE ROAD/EDDIE WILLIAMS BLVD. CAPITAL OUTLAY APPROPRIATIONS AND ANY OTHER RELATED DOCUMENTS REASONABLE AND NECESSARY THERETO AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO.

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO

SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR LOUISIANA WATERSHED INITIATIVE CHATLIN LAKE CANAL BACKWATER OVERFLOW RELIEF STRUCTURE TO RED RIVER AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO.

The President called for any discussion, a vote was called for and resulted as follows:

YEAS: Rubin, Villard, Felter, Perry, Johnson, Washington.

NAYS: None.

ABSENT: Fowler.

This ordinance was thereupon declared adopted on this the 23rd day of July, 2024.

The following ordinance, which was previously introduced and laid over for publication of notice and no objection having been filed thereto, was brought up for final adoption on a motion of Ms. Felter and seconded by Mr. Johnson. ORDINANCE NO. 118-2024

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL RECEIVED FROM SOL POWERLINES, LLC FOR OVERHEAD ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION MAINTENANCE SERVICES AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO.

The President called for any discussion, a vote was called for and resulted as follows:

YEAS: Felter, Perry, Johnson, Washington, Rubin, Villard.

NAYS: None.

ABSENT: Fowler.

This ordinance was thereupon declared adopted on this the 23rd day of July, 2024.

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO.

NAYS: None.

This ordinance was thereupon declared adopted on this the 23rd day of July, 2024.

The following ordinance, which was previously introduced and laid over for publication of notice and no objection having been filed thereto, was brought up for final adoption on a motion of Mr. Rubin and seconded by Ms. Felter. ORDINANCE NO. 120-2024

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO PURCHASE A POLARIS XP 1000 AND RELATED EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES FROM POLARIS OF RUSTON AND EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS/AGREEMENTS NECESSARY AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO.

The President called for any discussion, a vote was called for and resulted as follows:

YEAS: Rubin, Villard, Felter, Perry, Johnson, Washington.

NAYS: None.

ABSENT: Fowler.

This ordinance was thereupon declared adopted on this the 23rd day of July, 2024.
