On a motion of Mr. Rubin and seconded by Ms. Felter the following ordinance was introduced to wit: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE INCREASE IN THE 2024 ADJUSTED MILLAGE RATES ON THE MILLAGE ASSESSMENTS FOR PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA, BUT NOT IN EXCESS OF THE PRIOR YEAR’S MAXIMUM RATE LEVIED UPON THE DOLLAR OF THE ASSESSED VALUE OF ALL PROPERTY SUBJECT TO AD VALOREM TAXATION IN THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO.

On a motion of Mr. Rubin and seconded by Ms. Felter the following ordinance was introduced to wit: AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT OR AGREEMENT WITH CIVIC PLUS, LLC FOR MUNICODE SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO.

On a motion of Mr. Rubin and seconded by Ms. Felter the following ordinance was introduced to wit: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A COOPERATIVE ENDEAVOR AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF LOUISIANA, OFFICE OF FACILITY PLANNING AND CONTROL, FOR SUGARHOUSE ROAD/EDDIE WILLIAMS BLVD. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO PURCHASE A POLARIS XP 1000 AND RELATED EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES FROM POLARIS OF RUSTON AND EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS/AGREEMENTS NECESSARY AND OTHER MATTERS WITH RESPECT THERETO.

The President called for any discussion, a vote was called for and resulted as follows:

YEAS: Rubin, Villard, Felter, Perry, Johnson, Washington.

NAYS: None.

ABSENT: Fowler.

This ordinance was thereupon declared adopted on this the 23rd day of July, 2024.

The President adjourned the meeting at 5:44 p.m.
