  3. RESOLUTION to confirm the appointment of Larry R. Turner to serve as a Commissioner on the Central Louisiana Regional Port Board.
  4. RESOLUTION to confirm the appointment of John Scott to serve as a Commissioner on the Central Louisiana Regional Port Board.
  5. RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for Kisatchie Ground Storage Aeration project.
  6. RESOLUTION accepting the construction of the improvements for the CIP-MPO North 16th Street Bridge Replacement (H.014167).
  7. RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for Contract A Roadside Open Ditch Enclosure and Storm Works Maintenance 20232024.
  8. RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for Contract C Concrete Pavement and Sidewalk Improvements 2023-2024.

  • H. ORDINANCES FOR FINAL ADOPTION SUBJECT TO PUBLIC HEARING
  1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to accept the low bid submitted for sulfur dioxide, technical grade, and liquid one (1) ton cylinders for Wastewater Department.
  2. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a cooperative endeavor agreement with the Rapides Parish Fair Association for use of Trolley’s and other matters with respect thereto.
  3. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to renew the service contract with Control Devices, Inc. for testing, calibration and maintenance of substation relays, meters and related equipment for the Electric Distribution Department and D.G. Hunter Generating Station.
  4. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to renew the service contract with Advanced Environmental Compliance, LLC and Terracon Consultants for Environmental Engineering and Consulting Services.
  5. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to enter into a cooperative endeavor Agreement with Louisiana Municipal Association for its annual meeting hosted in Alexandria August 3-5, 2023; and authorizing the mayor to enter into contract for services or joint services related to event; and to authorize purchases and vending or other matters related thereto.
  6. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to enter into an agreement for Property Tax software from Arkansas Cama Technology (ACT).
  7. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to renew an existing contract and subsequent contracts for maintenance agreement including mowing and litter pickup with the State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and other matters with respect thereto.
  8. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to accept the low bid submitted for annual requirement contract for water, wastewater, natural gas and general site related systems.
  9. To consider final adoption of an ordinance to amend the city of Alexandria Criminal Code, Chapter 15 of the Code of Ordinances, Article VII., offenses affecting the public generally, by adding Section 15-129 to provide for responsibilities of owners of firearms with respect to minors and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
