  2. RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Wade Tullos to serve on the Alexandria Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board as the representative for the Fire Department.
  3. RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Chris Fonville to serve on the Alexandria Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board as the representative for the Police Department.
  • H. ORDINANCES FOR FINAL ADOPTION SUBJECT TO PUBLIC HEARING
  1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to accept the low bid submitted for treated wood poles.
  2. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to accept the low bid submitted for a 55 foot insulated, articulating non-overcenter material handling bucket truck.
  3. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to accept the low bid submitted for a six inch hydraulic driven submersible trash pump with electric motor driven mobile hydraulic power pack.
  4. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to enter into an agreement for engineering professional services with Meyer, Meyer, LaCroix and Hixson for water main and reservoir.
  5. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to enter into an agreement for grant management professional services with Meyer, Meyer, LaCroix and Hixson for water main and reservoir.
  6. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to execute the intergovernmental agreement for State Project H.015633 COA Asphaltic Rehab Phase III.
  7. To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 25-2023 to add, establish and fund two competitive positions of Deputy Chief in the Alexandria Police Department in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statutes 33:2481.4 and 33.2541.1.
  8. To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 24-2023 to add, establish and fund the competitive position of Chief of Administration in the Alexandria Fire Department in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statutes 33:2481.4.
  9. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor on behalf of the City to enter into a Quitclaim Deed with Jimmie Thompson Enterprises LLC to purchase a small triangular tract of land measuring 15.29’x 9.86’x 18.29’ located at the point of the intersection of Fourth Street and Second Street and being a part of Lot 4, Square 25, Upper Suburbs adjacent to the Holocaust Memorial to complete the Holocaust Memorial Park.
  10. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to execute a supplemental support agreement with United Systems Maintenance of the Itron FSC Meter Data Collection system.
  11. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor on behalf of the City to enter into a reciprocal servitude agreement with Crown Brake, LLC and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
  12. To consider final adoption of an ordinance implementing the Alexandria Police Department’s Recruitment and Retention Policies and Initiative in accordance with Resolution No. 0435-2023 providing for recruitment of post certified officers.
