Motion to award DSW Construction, LLC, the low bidder for total contract amount of $515,051.00, included the base bid plus Additive Alternates Nos. 1, 2 and 3, for Bid No. 3155 – Work Order No. 6 – Courthouse Restroom Renovations under ARPA Grant, as recommended by Pan American Engineers. 3. Motion to award DSW Construction, LLC, the low bidder for total contract amount of $428,155.00, Bid No. 3155 – Work Order No. 10 – Registrar of Voters Office Renovations under ARPA Grant, as recommended by Pan American Engineers. (Mr. McGlothlin)
4. Motion to award DSW Construction, LLC, the low bidder for total contract amount of $1,775,352.00, Bid No. 3155 – Work Order No. 4 – Courthouse Annex – Public Meeting Room Addition under ARPA Grant, as recommended by Ballard CLC. (Mr. Smith)

5. Motion to authorize the President to execute a Change Order with DSW Construction, LLC for the construction of the Courthouse Annex, Public Meeting Room Addition – Work Order No. 4, totaling $70,000 for modifications to the fire wall and ramp interconnectivity due to grade changes, as well as any unforeseen contingencies; with funding approved under the American Rescue Plan Act Final Rule Funding Plan. (Mr. Smith)
6. Motion to authorize the President to execute a Change Order with DSW Construction, LLC totaling $134,000.00 for the Registrar of Voters Office Renovation – Work Order No. 10, at the Rapides Parish Courthouse to include plumbing and HVAC unforeseen conditions, as well as exterior waterproofing efforts and any other unforeseen contingencies; with funding approved under the American Rescue Plan Act Final Rule Funding Plan. (Mr. McGlothlin)
7. Motion to authorize the President to execute a Change Order with DSW Construction, LLC for the Restroom Renovations – Work Order No. 6, at the Rapides Parish Courthouse totaling $42,000.00 for plumbing and HVAC unforeseen conditions, as well as any unforeseen contingencies; with funding approved under the American Rescue Plan Act Final Rule Funding Plan. (Mr. Overton)
8. Motion to authorize the President to execute a Change Order with Pat Williams Construction, LLC for the Renovations to the Adult Drug Court Building – Work Order No. 11, totaling $85,000.00 for existing building unforeseen conditions related to HVAC, electrical and plumbing, as well as any unforeseen contingencies; with funding approved under the American Rescue Plan Act Final Rule Funding Plan. 9. Motion to authorize the President to execute a Change Order with SAMS Air Conditioning Maintenance Service, Inc. for the Replacement of Air Handling Units at the Rapides Parish Coliseum – Work Order No. 8, totaling $58,000.00 for items related to the Building Management System and energy management including the interconnectivity to other campus facilities for HVAC fresh air and other unforeseen HVAC modifications to accommodate the structure, as well as any unforeseen contingencies; with funding approved under the American Rescue Plan Act Final Rule Funding Plan . 10. Motion to authorize the President to execute a Change Order with Bernhard MCC, LLC for the Courthouse HVAC Air Quality Improvements at the SPECIAL MEETING DECEMBER 16, 2024

Rapides Parish Courthouse – Work Order No. 2, totaling $110,000.00 for unforeseen HVAC modifications to accommodate the historic structure and other unforeseen contingencies; with funding approved under the American Rescue Plan Act Final Rule Funding Plan. (Mr. McGlothlin)

11. Motion to authorize the President to execute a Change Order with Pat Williams Construction, LLC for the Courthouse Annex (Former Gravel Law Office) – Work Order No. 3, totaling $155,000.00 for existing building unforeseen conditions related to HVAC, plumbing, waterproofing and access ramp for floor plan modifications to connect with the new Public Meeting Room, as well as any unforeseen contingencies; with funding approved under the American Rescue Plan Act Final Rule Funding Plan. 12. Motion to ratify authorization for the Parish President and OEP Director to sign a letter of support for Louisiana State University at Alexandria to create a Bachelor of Science Degree in Disaster Science and Emergency Management. (Mr. Overton)
13. ASM Presentation on licensing naming proposal due for the Rapides Parish Coliseum. (Mr. McGlothlin)
14. Discuss proposal for new Exhibition Hall/Events Center sign on the Rapides Parish Coliseum property. (Mr. McGlothlin)
15. Motion to authorize the purchase of a used 2014 Freightliner Stake Truck, for the amount of $25,900.00, to be paid from General Fund and assigned to the Rapides Parish Coliseum. (Mr. McGlothlin)
16. Any other business that may properly come before the Police Jury.
