Storage tanks to be placed at Area 1 - Rapides Parish Public Works Main Office, Area 2 - Esler Field site and Area 3 - Glenmora work site. (Mr. Giles)

The Police Jury of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana, was duly convened a s the governing authority of said Parish by Hon. Craig Smith , President, who welcomed all present and then called the meeting to order at 9:32 a.m.

The invocation was given by Mr. Randy Harris.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Parrish Giles.

There were present: Craig Smith, President and Police Jurors: Davron “Bubba” Moreau, Randy Wiggins, Randy Harris, Danny Bordelon, Oliver “Ollie” Overton, Jr. and Parrish Giles.

Absent: Sean McGlothlin and Jay Scott.

Also present were : M s. Theresa Pacholik , Secretary/Treasurer; Mr. Gregory L. Jones, Legal Counsel; Ms. Devon Davis; Ms. Sarah Vidrine; Ms. Debra Wess; Mr. Ryan Elkins;

On m otion by Parrish Giles, seconded by Mr. Bubba Moreau to authorize the Purchasing Agent advertise and receive bids on three (3) used dump trucks for the Rapides Parish Public Works Department. Discussion ensued. On vote the motion SPECIAL SESSION APRIL 20, 2026

carried.

On motion by Mr. Parrish Giles, seconded by Mr. Randy Harris to amend a certain motion passed on April 13, 2026 to authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive bids for off on road diesel fuel and storage tanks for the Public Works Department. Storage tanks to be placed at Area 1 - Rapides Parish Public Works Main Office, Area 2 - Esler Field site and Area 3 - Glenmora work site. Discussion ensued. On vote the motion carried.

On motion by Mr. Bubba Moreau, seconded by Mr. Ollie Overton there being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:41 a.m.
