City Council Minutes – April 27, 2022

PROCEEDINGS OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA, STATE OF LOUISIANA, TAKEN AT A SPECIAL CALL MEETING HELD ON APRIL 27, 2022. The Council of the City of Alexandria, Louisiana, met in a special scheduled meeting session at its regular meeting place, on Thursday, April 27, 2022 at 5:00 P .M. Those present were the Honorable, Catherine Davidson, Jim Villard, Cynthia Perry, Lee Rubin, Chuck Fowler and Gerber Porter . REDDEX Washington was absent. Also present were the Council Staff. The Council of the City of Alexandria, State of Louisiana, was duly convened as the governing authority of said City by the Honorable Catherine Davidson, who stated that the Council was ready for the transaction of business.

1. To conduct an investigation pursuant Alexandria Home Rule Charter Article II City Council Sec. 2-08. Ms. Davidson made comments pertaining to item one. Ms. Perry and Mr . Rubin also made brief comments on the topic. Mr . Milton Gordon a citizen of Alexandria also spoke on crime in Alexandria. Ms. Davidson announced that there would be another Special Call Meeting on May 12, 2022 at 4 p.m. to allow the Administration to gather information and be present for the investigation. /S/ Catherine Davidson President ATTEST: /S/ Donna P .
