  2. Motion that approved bills be paid.

APPOINTMENTS TO BE ANNOUNCED ***Henry Blake on the Rapides Housing Authority Board for a si x (6) year term. Term expired October 9, 2022. (From September agenda) ***Henry Corley on the Fire Protection District No. 12 Board for a two (2) year term. Term expired January 14, 2023. ***Matt Johns on the Rapides Area Planning Commission for a five (5) year term. Term will expire April 8, 2023. ***Robert Wooley on the Sewerage District No. 1 Board for a four (4) year term. Term will expire May 10, 2023.

  1. Motion to open a Public Hearing to discuss and take action to accept or deny the Industrial Tax Exemption Application: PQ, LLC. Industrial Tax Exemption application #20220369-ITE.

  5. Motion to adopt an ordinance to amend and reenact Section 20-7 (b)(1) Hardship Cases, so as to increase the maximum monthly income of homeowners who qualify from $1,300.00 dollars to $1,500.00 per month, effective immediately. (Public Works 03/06)

Motion to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with Ward 10 Recreation District for the Public Works Department to provide labor and equipment to perform approximately ten (10) hours of hauling and spreading of 610 base, to be paid out of Ward 10 Maintenance Funds and authorize the President to sign all necessary documents. Motion to increase the starting base pay for Rapides Parish Fire District No. 4 Civil Service Firefighters, from $1,033.85 per pay period to $1,085.54 per pay period, Chief of Administration from $1,536.72 per pay period to $1,648.00 per pay period, effective February 26, 2023, as recommended by the Fire Chief and Holiday Village Fire Department Board.   2. Motion to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Town of Glenmora, for the Rapides Parish Highway Department, to provide labor and equipment, to perform fifty (50) hours of pot hole patching on various roads, as requested by the Town of Glenmora, to be paid out of Town’s portion of Road District 1A Maintenance Funds and authorize the President to sign. (Mr. Johnson)
  3. Motion to authorize the Rapides Parish Police Jury to execute an Engineering Agreement with Pan American Engineers, LLC. to develop bidding documents for the Hoyt Road Improvements Project and authorize Pan American Engineers, LLC. to advertise and receive bids for the same. The estimated cost of the project is $315,000. (Mr. Wilder)
