- Motion to authorize acceptance of the completion of Bethel Road Bridge over Slash Bayou Tributary under State Project No. H.013120 and to authorize the President to execute any necessary documents of such completion. (Public Works 12/04)
- Motion to ratify authorization of said motion passed on November 13, 2023, to reimburse Town of Woodworth for various road improvements on Lamothe Lane and Wesley Circle, not to exceed $159,000.00, to be paid out Road District 2C-District H funds, to also include various other roads within the Town. - Motion to grant approval of Teekell Ridge Subdivision, as recommended by the Rapides Area Planning Commission and authorize signing of the plat upon Legal Counsel review and approval. (Public Works 12/04)
- Motion to authorize the Parish President to sign a six (6) month extension for a Professional Services Contract for Monitoring Services for the WIOA programs. The contract extension will be for the period of January 1, 2024 – June 30, 2024. This contract for monitoring will supplement current internal program monitoring in order to comply with LWC regulations. Contract will be paid out of WIOA funds. Contract extension contingent on approval from Rapides Parish Civil Service. (Workforce & Grants 12/04)
- Motion to authorize CLEAN to host an event with Southern 3 Cylinder Outlaw Drag Club to hold a Boat Racing Events in 2024 on Cotile Lake, tentative dates: May 4-5, June 1-2, July 20-21, August 24-25, boat landing within the park to be closed on event dates, pending legal counsel approval. - Motion to authorize the Sales & Use Tax Office, District Attorney Office, and Workforce Development Office, to piggy-back onto the Parish Enterprise Fleet Lease, and surplus older Parish vehicles and apply said funds towards the lease of new vehicles, and authorize the President to execute same, subject to legal counsel approval. - Motion to adopt a resolution of support for the FY 2024/2025 Capital Outlay Request – Regional Wastewater Consolidation Project by the Town of Woodworth. Local match to be funded by the Town of Woodworth Utility System. (Mr. Bishop)
- Motion to approval an $1.82 hourly rate increase for the employees of Rapides Parish Fire District #11 – Springcreek, as recommend by the Springcreek Volunteer Fire Department Board. ( Mr. Johnson)
- Motion to accept the road name change of Leigh Drive, formerly located in Green Acres Subdivision, to Cypress Pond Drive now located in Cypress Pond Subdivision, as recommended by the Rapides Area Planning Commission. (Mr. Smith)
- Motion to adopt an ordinance to amend and reenact Chapter 23 – Taxation and Licenses; Article III – Sales and Use Tax; Division 1 – Definitions , Section 23-25 (1.09) – Hotel. "Hotel" means and includes any establishment engaged in the business of furnishing sleeping rooms, cottages or cabins to transient guests, where such establishment consists of six (6) or more sleeping rooms, cottages or cabins at a single business location. As defined by R.S. 47:301. (Mr. Bishop)
- Motion to authorize cleanup of garbage, trash, weeds and debris at 905 Tioga Road, Ball, LA and authorize legal counsel to invoice the property owner for cost of cleanup.
