Introduction of an ordinance to reaffirm and continue authority of the Greater Alexandria Economic Development Authority (GAEDA) district, a special political subdivision of the state in Rapides Parish, Louisiana authorized by R.S. 33:2740.60 (the Act) and City of Alexandria Ordinance 286-2003 for the purpose of cooperative economic development with the City of Alexandria.
  3. Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to renew the 2022-2025 Water Well Maintenance and Rehabilitation contract with Layne Christensen.
  4. Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to accept the proposals received for Electric Transmission and Distribution Emergency Services.
  5. Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to accept the proposal received from America Wire Group, LLC for single conductor cable for the Electric Distribution Department.
  6. Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to accept the lowest proposal received from EPR System for Fire/EMS Record Management System for the Fire Department.

  1. RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for a minimum of one Grapple Truck for the Sanitation Department.

  • I. ORDINANCES FOR FINAL ADOPTION SUBJECT TO PUBLIC HEARING
  1. Adopt the adjusted millage rates.
  2. Set forth the adjusted millage rate(s) and roll forward to millage rate(s) not exceeding maximum authorized rate(s).
  3. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with MissionBOOST, LLC for the purpose of providing grant writing and other related services to the Alexandria Police Department under such terms and conditions as the mayor believes reasonable and necessary.
  4. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to execute an amendment to the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement between the State and the City for additional funds for the Louisiana Watershed Initiative Project Chatlin Lake Canal Overflow Relief Structure to the Red River.
  5. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor accept the low bid submitted for Wastewater Treatment Plant Roadway Lighting Phase 2.
  6. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to accept the low bid submitted for a four inch hydraulic drive submersible pump for the Wastewater Department.
  7. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the mayor to accept the low bid submitted for International CV515 Truck with Truck Mounted Jet Rodder for the Wastewater Department.
  8. To consider final adoption of an ordinance rezoning properties District) to B-3 (General Business District) to allow for the expansion of commercial parking at the site for existing businesses.
