- Motion to authorize the President to execute Partial Occupancy documents related to the Cotile Recreation Repairs and Improvements Project, under construction by Bayou Rapides Corporation, for Comfort Station No. 2, as recommended by Ballard CLC, with the occupancy date acknowledged to be prior to Friday, September 6, 2024. (Finance 09/03)
- Motion to reallocate the tax proceeds from the Sa les Tax District No. 3 tax election of April 11, 2011, to be reallocated annually, according to the population estimates as submitted to the Treasurer of the State of Louisiana by the LSU AgCenter, Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness and Dr. Troy C. Blanchard, from the LSU Department of Sociology also referred to as the Federal/State Cooperative Population. The Federal/State Cooperative Population study is to be used to reallocate provides the following population estimates:

- Motion to authorize Change Order No. 2 for Cotile Recreation Restroom Restoration Repairs, to exten d the completion date to 09/20/2024 and claim the fourteen (14) rain days experienced in the months of June and July, as recommended by the project engineer, Ballard CLC and authorize the Parish President to sign all necessary documents. (Finance 09/03)
- Motion to authorize cleanup of garbage, trash, weeds and debris at 1802 Donegal Drive, Alexandria, LA and authorize legal counsel to invoice the property owner for cost of cleanup. Public Works Department to complete the job if a contractor is unable to complete the job in a timely manner or if it is cost prohibitive. (Public Works 09/03)
- Motion to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with Ward 10 Recreation for the Rapides Public Works Department to assist in setting two
- (2) eight (8) feet joint culverts at Ward 10 Complex, along West Yeager, to be paid out of Road District 10A Maintenance Funds and reimbursed by the Ward 10 Recreation Board. (Public Works 09/03)

- Motion to authorize Cotile Events Association to host the following events in 2025 at Cotile Recreation Area: Cotile Lake Mardi Gras February 22 nd, Spring Fest at Cotile Lake – April 19th, Fall Fest at Cotile Lake – September 20th, and Cotile Halloween Bash – October 18 th, pending legal counsel approval. - Motion to authorize CLEAN to host an event with Southern 3 Cylinder Outlaw Drag Club to hold Boat Racing Events in 2025 on Cotile Lake, REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 10, 2024

- Motion to adopt a resolution approving the Annual Certificate of Compliance with the State of Louisiana Off System Bridge Replacement Program, as recommended by the Public Works Director, copy of the resolution to be sent to LA-DOTD District 08. (Public Works 09/03)
- Motion to authorize Pan American Engineers, LLC. to advertise and receive bids for the Tiger Lake Road Lane Widening project. The estimated construction cost of the project is $460,000. Project is to be paid from Police Jury District H – Road District 2C funds. (Public Works 09/03)
- Motion to authorize Pan American Engineers, LLC. to advertise and receive bids for the Peart Road Widening project. The estimated construction cost of the project is $775,000. Project is to be paid from Police Jury District H – Road District 2C funds. (Public Works 09/03)
- Motion to ratify authorization for revised scope of work due to stream migration for the Lone Pine Slope Failure, under the original emergency declaration. Revised cost of project is $416,355.00. (Public Works 09/03)
- Motion to adopt a resolution to designate the Rapides Senior Citizens Center, Inc. to be the Contractor, to prepare a grant with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, for Fiscal Year 2024 for operational funding, to provide rural transportation services in rural parts of Rapides Parish and authorize the President to sign any necessary documents (Workforce & Grants 09/03)
- Motion to reappoint Mr. Rodney McNeal to the Renaissance JDD board of commissioners. (Municipal & Parochial Liaison 09/03)

- Motion to authorize to advertise and receive bids for the construction of a Fire Station for Rapides Parish Fire District No. 5 as design phase voted on June 12, 2023 is completed, as r equested by Fontenot and Associates (engineering firm), Fire Chief and Purchasing Agent. (Mr. Giles)
- Motion to authorize cleanup of garbage, trash, weeds and debris at 1424 Highway 1204 , Pineville, LA and authorize legal counsel to invoice the property owner for cost of cleanup. Public Works Department to complete the job if a contractor is unable to complete the job in a timely manner or if it is cost prohibitive. (Mr. Moreau)
- Motion to adopt a resolution to opt out of the Temporary Housing and Shelter Assistance Program in accordance with LA R.S. 726 (F)(3)(b) and LA R.S. 726 (F)(4)(Act 526, 2022), to coincide with approved extension by FEMA, as recommended by RAPC and Legal Counsel and authorize the Parish President to sign any necessary documents.
