ROLL CALL

1. Motion to authorize advertisement for sealed bids for sale of small tract of library property located behind the library branch at 5416 Provine Place, Alexandria, Louisiana, as approved by the Library Board of Directors. (Mr. McGlothlin)
2. Motion to authorize legal counsel to file an appeal in Rapides Civil Service Docket #002-2024; (Mr. Smith)
3. Motion to authorize to piggyback off of Rapides Parish Sheriff Office Bid No. RPSO-09-2025 and purchase a full body scanner to be used at DC#1. (Mr. Smith)
4. Motion to appoint one (1) of the following nominees submitted by LSUA, to serve the unexpired term of Mr. Robert Wright to serve on the Rapides Parish Fire District No. 2 Civil Service Board. Term will expire July 29, 2028.

The Police Jury of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana, was duly convened as the governing authority of said Parish by Hon. Craig Smith, President, who welcomed all present and then called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.

The invocation was given by Mr. Ollie Overton.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Randy Harris. SPECIAL SESSION DECEMBER 11, 2025

There were present: Craig Smith, President and Police Jurors: Davron “Bubba” Moreau, Randy Wiggins, Randy Harris, Danny Bordelon, Oliver “Ollie” Overton, Jr., Sean McGlothlin, Parrish Giles and Jay Scott.

Absent: None.

Also present were : M s. Theresa Pacholik , Secretary/Treasurer; Mr. Gregory L. Jones, Legal Counsel; Ms. Devon Davis; Ms. Sarah Vidrine; Ms. Debra Wess; Ms. Celise Reech-Harper; Mr. Shane Trapp.

On motion by Mr. Sean McGlothlin, seconded by Mr. Parrish Giles to authorize advertisement for sealed bids for sale of small tract of library property located behind the library branch at 5416 Provine Place, Alexandria, Louisiana, as approved by the Library Board of Directors. On vote the motion carried.

On motion by Mr. Danny Bordelon, seconded by Mr. Ollie Overton to authorize legal counsel to file an appeal in Rapides Civil Service Docket #002-2024. On vote motion carried. Mr. Jay Scott abstained from the vote.

On motion by Mr. Bubba Moreau, seconded by Mr. Danny Bordelon to authorize to piggyback off of Rapides Parish Sheriff Office Bid No. RPSO-09-2025 and purchase a full body scanner to be used at DC#1. On vote the motion carried.

On motion by Mr. Parrish Giles, seconded by Mr. Sean McGlothlin to appoint Mr. Williard Beard, nominee submitted by LSUA, to serve the unexpired term of Mr. Robert Wright to serve on the Rapides Parish Fire District No. 2 Civil Service Board. Term will expire July 29, 2028. Discussion ensued. On vote the motion carried.

On m otion by Mr. Parrish Giles, seconded by Mr. Ollie Overton there being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:06 p.m.
