- Motion to adopt an ordinance to establish or set a 15m ph speed limit on Ed Perkins Road, Ward 6, District H, and authorize the Parish Public Wor ks Department to erect speed limit signs. (Public Works 06/03)
- Motion to clarify that the Emergency Declaration for Lone Pine Roadway has not been rescinded and is still in effect in order to immediately provide a resolution for the emergency traffic needs of the citizens in that area. (Public Works 06/03)

Begnaud, Attorney at Law, of the firm McCoy Roberts & Begnaud, LTD., as bankruptcy counsel for the Rapides Parish Sales Tax Department, as recommended by the Tax Administrator and the District Attorney, subject to approval by the State of Louisiana Attorney General. - Motion to increase Fire Protection District No. 3 Part Time Firefighters starting pay rate from $12 per hour to $14 per hour effective July 28, 2024, as recommended by Alpine Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors, to be paid out of Fire Protection District No. 3 Funds. - Motion to amend Fire Protection District No. 3 Part Time Firefighter pay plan adopted on 06/08/2015, to include, any employee that works over 1,000 hours in a calendar year will receive a $1 per hour raise to be effective in January the following year, as recommended by Alpine Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors, to be paid out of Fire Protection District No. 3 Funds. - Motion to grant 4% annual longevity pay increase for Rapides Pari sh Fire Protection District No. 3 Fire Chief, Training Officer and Records Clerk, in addition to any mandated raises, effective July 28, 2024, as recommended by Alpine Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors, to be paid out of Fire Protection District No. 3 Funds. - Motion to approve the extension for the paid Auditor internshi p(s) at the Rapides Parish Sales & Use Tax Department, not to exceed forty (40) hours per week, beginning in June and ending in May. Position was unable to be filled during the school year. (Mr. Overton)
- Motion to discuss and authorize the creation of a policy to all ow food and non-alcoholic drink truck vendors to conduct sales within Cotile Recreation Park on the weekends and holidays. (Mr. Bordelon)
- Motion to authorize asphalt overlay on various roads within the Town of Cheneyville, not to exceed $60,000.00, project to be funded Road District 3A, District H. (Mr. Giles)
- Motion to award RFP No.3262 – Substance Abuse Testing/Physicals to Louisiana Occupational Health Services (LOHS) for a one (1) year term, with the option to extend for an additional two (2) years beginning July 1, 2024, as recommended by the Purchasing Agent. (Mr. Bishop)
