- Motion to authorize Rapides Parish Fire District No. 10 to sell various pieces of diving equipment to Allen Parish Fire District No. 6 for $12,500.00, as approved by both entities. The Fire District no longer has a use for these items and no longer has a dive team. (Mr. Moreau)
- Motion to authorize the Rapides Parish Fire District No. 17 to purchase a Fire Truck from State Contract No. 4400017741, not to exceed $530,000.00, as requested by the Fire District Board. (Mr. Moreau)
- Motion to discuss amendment to Juror travel budget for FY 2024. (Mr. Moreau)
- Motion to delete from the Rapides Parish OHSEP Asset Inventory program the items listed below:

- Motion for the Public Works Director to conduct annual review of the Rapides Parish Police Jury Stormwater Ordinance as required by Rapides Parish Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan and LDEQ Permit. (Mr. Smith)
- Motion to grant property owner, Hubert Melder, on Bounds Road access to property through Parish Road Servitude and authorize the Parish President to sign all necessary documents. (Mr. Giles)
- Motion to authorize the purchase of a Cold Planer, Louisiana State Contract No. 4400026637, cost not to exceed $27,000.00, as recommended by the Public Works Director. (Mr. Smith)
- Motion to authorize the Rapides Parish Police Jury to execute an Engineering Agreement with Pan American Engineers, LLC. to develop bidding documents for asphaltic concrete overlay on Munson Road and authorize Pan American Engineers, LLC. to advertise and receive bids for the same. The estimated cost of the project is $500,000.00. Project to be funded from Road District 3A, District H. (Mr. Giles)
- Motion to hold public hearing on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 3:00 p.m., for (Mr. Smith)

- Motion to award Bid No. 3264 – Various Road Materials, to the lowest bidder, based on availability of materials, as recommended by the Purchasing Agent. (Mr. Smith)
- Motion to discuss and authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive proposals on leasing a Grapple Truck for Public Works. (Mr. Smith)
- Motion to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Village of Forest Hill, and for the Rapides Parish Public Works Department to assist and repair potholes on Earl Linzay Road and Stokes Lane, to be paid out of Road District 1A, District H. (Mr. Giles)
- Motion to adopt an ordinance to establish or set a 50mph speed limit on Cheneyville-Echo Road, District H and authorize the Public Works Department to erect speed limit signs. (Mr. Giles)

- Motion to authorize Rapides Parish Fire District No. 14 to submit application for the 2024 Forestry Grant not to exceed $20,000.00, as requested by the Fire Chief and authorize the President to sign all necessary documents. (Mr. Bordelon)
- Motion for the Workforce Operations Department to hire (1) temporary part-time teacher, up to 32 hours per week, beginning May 14, 2024, until August 30, 2024, to facilitate the Summer Youth Employment Program, $25 hourly, to be paid out of WIOA funds. This instructor will also facilitate the academic component required by the program. (Mr. Nelson)
- Motion to authorize the Rapides Parish Jury President to sign the Memorandum of Agreement with the Rapides Parish School Board for the purpose of engaging out of school youth. The 2024 -2026 Memorandum of Agreement would be effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026. (Mr. Nelson)
