Motion to award Request for Proposal No. 3076 (Contract Hauling Various Road Materials – Annual Bid) to Tommy Russell Enterprises, LLC beginning on April 1, 2023 and ending March 31, 2024 with the option to renew up to thirty-six (36) months total, as recommended by the Purchasing Agent and the Public Works Director. The rates awarded: 0 to 10 Mile Haul 0.70 per yard mile 11 to 20 Mile Haul 0.55 per yard mile 21 and over Mile Haul 0.45 per yard mile Truck Owned – 2 Trucks Hired: 4 (Mr. Moreau)

  1. Motion to adopt an ordinance to amend and reenact Section 20-7 (b)(1) Hardship Cases, so as to increase the maximum monthly income of homeowners who qualify from $1,300.00 dollars to $1,500.00 per month, effective immediately. (Mr. Johnson)
  2. Motion to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with Ward 10 Recreation District for the Public Works Department to provide labor and equipment to perform approximately ten (10) hours of hauling and spreading of 610 base, to be paid out of Ward 10 Maintenance Funds and authorize the President to sign all necessary documents. (Mr. Moreau)
  3. Motion to adopt an ordinance to establish 25 mph speed limit on Satcher Road, Ward 2, District F, and authorize the Parish Highway Department to erect speed limit signs. (Mr. Overton)
