Motion to authorize Rapides Parish Fire District No. 7 to submit a grant application to the Volunteer Fire Assistance Program administered through the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, Office of Forestry, for equipment, as requested by the Ruby Kolin Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors and authorize the President to sign necessary documents. This is a 50% matching fund program with a total cost not to exceed $6,000. (Mr. Bishop)
  2. Motion to grant the 2% annual longevity pay increase mandated by the State for eligible Rapides Parish Fire Protection District No. 2 employees, effective August 1, 2021, to be paid out of Fire Protection District No. 2 Funds. (Mr. McGlothlin)
  3. Motion to grant the 2% annual longevity pay increase mandated by the State for eligible Rapides Parish Fire Protection District No. 4 employees, effective August 1, 2021, to be paid out of Fire Protection District No. 4 Funds. (Mr. Bishop)

(Mr. Moreau)
  3. Motion to grant a $0.25 per hour pay increase to all part-time Rapides Parish Fire Protection District No. 3 employees, effective August 1, 2021, as recommended by the Alpine Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors, to be paid out of Fire Protection District No. 3 Funds. (Mr. Moreau)
  4. Motion to grant the 2% annual longevity pay increase mandated by the State for eligible Rapides Parish Fire Protection District No. 3 employees, effective August 1, 2021, as recommended by Fire Chief David Corley, to be paid out of Fire Protection District No. 3 Funds. (Mr. Moreau)
  5. Motion to authorize to purchase two (2) Fire Engines for Rapides Parish Fire District No. 5 off the Lamas State Contract, not to exceed $800,000.00, secure financing and authorize the President to sign any necessary documentation, as requested by the Fire District No. 5 Board of Directors. Motion to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Town of Ball for the Rapides Parish Public Works Department to provide labor, namely (2) Equipment Operator I for up to 40 hours each and (1) Equipment Operator II for up to 40 hours and equipment, namely (1) track hoe for up to 40 hours and (2) 14-yard dump trucks for up to 40 hours each to perform ditching on Daniels Road, Beeson Road and Ball Loop and to authorize the President to sign necessary documents.   6. Motion that leased Duck Blinds on Kincaid Lake for 2021, already paid for, be allowed to carry their leases over to 2022, due to the drawdown on the lake. (Mr. Wilder) Page | 10

Motion to authorize the Rapides Parish Police Jury to enter into an agreement with Durable Piling Restoration, L.L.C. to repair/splice bridge pilings on the Lee Bridge Road bridge over Flagon Bayou at an estimated cost of $55,000 and authorize the Parish President to sign necessary contract documents as recommended by Parish Engineer, Pan American Engineers, LLC.
