  2. Motion to delete from the Buckeye Recreation Park the equipment listed below. This equipment was stolen on April 11, 2021 and a report was filed with Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office. Asset Number Description DISPOSAL 10932 2002 Honda Four-Wheeler Stolen 300 Four Track (Mr. Wilder)
  3. Motion to authorize the Parish President to submit a Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriation Act 2021 (CRRSA) application to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the amount of $13,000 for Esler Regional Airport, as recommended by Pan American Engineers, LLC. (All cost covered by FAA, no out of pocket cost to Rapides Parish Police Jury). (Mr. Smith)
  4. Motion to authorize the Parish President to submit an Airport Improvement Plan (AIP) funding application to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for a Drainage Study and Report at Esler Regional Airport in the amount of $251,700, as recommended by Pan American Engineers, LLC (All cost covered by FAA and LDOTD, no out of pocket cost to Rapides Parish Police Jury)(This project is included in the current 2021 Capital Improvement Program approved by FAA and LDOTD).   1. Motion to rescind a certain motion adopted March 09, 2020 to advertise to receive bids for “Various Road Improvements in Rapides Parish for 2020”, Bid No. 2813, as the project was never done. (Mr. Bishop)
  2. Motion to authorize the Parish President to execute Task Order A-3-2021 – Police Jury District B – Districtwide Asphalt Roadway Improvements under the Contract “A” Asphaltic Concrete Reconstruction and Overlay Improvements 2021/2022 (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract) between the Rapides Parish Police Jury and Gilchrist Construction Company, LLC with an estimated cost of $1,400,000 as recommended by Parish Engineer, Pan American Engineers, LLC. (Mr. Moreau) Page | 7
  3. Motion for Rapides Parish Police Jury to accept the dedication of improvements for roadway and drainage within the right of way of Walden Point Phase 3; with the understanding that the developer will provide a warranty on installation and material for a period of two years and that developer will rectify/complete all noted deficiencies as listed on Parish Engineer, Pan American Engineers, LLC, report dated June 2, 2021.   4. Motion to discuss Bond requirements for road damages caused by trucking or heavy equipment contractors (logging, oil field work, etc.) (Mr. Johnson)
  5. Motion to adopt an ordinance to amend and reenact Section 18-4.2(h) to establish a 20 mph speed limit on Thompson Road, Ward 2, District E and authorize the Parish Highway Department to erect speed limit signs. (Mr. Wilder)
  6. Motion to adopt and ordinance to amend and reenact Section 18-4.2(g) to establish a 25 mph speed limit on Richland Road, Ward 2, District F and authorize the Parish Highway Department to erect speed limit signs. (Mr. Overton)

Motion to amend a certain motion of August 10, 2020 to the contract with the Louisiana Department of Health, Central Louisiana Human Services District (CLHSD), for the Ninth Judicial District Court to provide (Patricia Koch) Behavioral Health Court services, to increase the amount from $298,350 to $378,000.00, for the year 2021, at no cost to the Jury and ratify authorization for the President to sign. (Mr. Overton)
  3. Motion to approve Amendment 2 of the PY20/FY21 WIOA budget to transfer $71,000.00 from FY21 Dislocated Worker Program Funds to FY21 Adult Program Funds and to authorize the President to sign the amendment and the Treasurer to amend the budget. The Workforce Development Board approved the transfer of $71,000.00 at the meeting held on Thursday, May 20, 2021, contingent upon approval by Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC). LWC approved the transfer on May 27, 2021. This transfer is to meet the workforce needs by expanding participation in scholarship training, for adults, in various in-demand occupations. (Mr. Overton)
  4. Motion to approve Amendment 1 of the PY20/FY21 WIOA budget, that increases the contract amount by $2,368 for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I Dislocated Worker (DW) funds, and to authorize the President to sign the amendments and the Treasurer to amend the budget. LWC issued Amendment 1 to the PY20/FY21 Contract No. 2000508594 to provide adjusted funding levels for PY20/FY allotments for the DW program under WIOA Title I Section 132(c). (Mr. Overton)
