PUBLIC GATHERINGS LIMITED
Public gatherings are restricted to 75% of the total occupancy of the State Fire Marshal, and requires a six (6) foot minimum of social distancing, limiting the public seating area for the Rapides Parish Police Jury meeting to 28 members of the public, on a first come basis, in accordance with Phase II restrictions.

- Motion to authorize the issuance of a quietus on the part of the Rapides Parish Police Jury in favor of the Sheriff and Tax Collector and against any claim on the part of the Rapides Parish Police Jury for the ad valorem taxes of the year 2019, and authorize Theresa Pacholik, Treasurer, to issue said quietus. - Motion to adopt a resolution supporting state and/or federal emergency declarations associated with potential flooding associated with Hurricane Laura and calling for the leveling of the Dixie Pipeline Spoil Banks which impedes the drainage of water in the Atchafalaya Basin and authorize the President to sign necessary paperwork. (Mr. Smith)
- Motion to enter into an agreement with Richard’s Bush-Hogging Services, to mow the levees at Cotile, Kincaid and Indian Creek, two times per year for a charge of $9,400.00 per time, for a total of $18,800.00, per Quote No. 2001, to begin as soon as possible. (Mr. Bishop) Page | 8
- Motion to adopt an amendment to the Rapides Parish Code of Ordinances, Chapter 6 ½ - Buildings and Construction – Article IV – Duck Blinds – Sec.6 1/2 -19 and 16 ½ 20, as requested by the Rapides Area Planning Commission, subject to Legal Counsels review. (Mr. Wilder)
- Motion to adopt a resolution approving the Annual Certificate of Compliance with the State of Louisiana Off System Bridge Replacement Program, as recommended by the Public Works Director, copy of the resolution to be sent to LA DOTD District 08. (Mr. Bishop)
