BY ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT

There were present: Davron “Bubba” Moreau, President, Richard Vanderlick, Vice President, and Police Jurors; Craig Smith, Joe Bishop, Theodore Fountaine, Jr. and Sean McGlothlin

Absent were Police Jurors: Oliver “Ollie” Overton, Jr., Richard Billings and Scott Perry, Jr.

Also present were Mr. Bruce Kelly, Treasurer; Mr. Greg Jones, Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Jimmy Faircloth, Special Counsel and Ms. Laurel Smith, Secretary.

The invocation was given by Mr. Theodore Fountaine, Jr.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Craig Smith.

The Police Jury of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana, was duly convened as the governing authority of said Parish by Hon. Davron “Bubba” Moreau, President, who welcomed all present and then stated that the Police Jury was ready for the transaction of business.

The President asked if there was any public comment on any agenda item, to which there was no response. REGULAR MEETING APRIL 9, 2012

On motion by Mr. Richard Vanderlick, seconded by Mr. Joe Bishop, to go into Executive Session with private counsel to discuss status of litigation with the District Attorney.

Mr. Greg Jones, Assistant District Attorney, requested Private Counsel, Mr. Jimmy Faircloth to read into the record, the official title of the lawsuit or suit number, to which Mr. Faircloth stated it was the Rapides Parish Police Jury vs. Mr. Phillip Terrell, District Attorney, Parish of Rapides. This is the petition that was prepared for a Judgement that was already filed.

Mr. Greg Jones stated that was sufficient for him.

Roll call vote was as follows: YEAS: Joe Bishop, Craig Smith, Theodore Fountaine, Jr., Sean McGlothlin, Richard Vanderlick and Davron “Bubba” Moreau NAYS: none ABSENT: Oliver “Ollie” Overton, Richard Billings and Scott Perry, Jr.

On roll call vote the motion carried 6-0 at 3:04 p.m.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

On motion by Mr. Joe Bishop, seconded by Mr. Richard Vanderlick, to come out of Executive Session at 4:06 p.m.

On motion by Mr. Richard Vanderlick, seconded by Mr. Joe Bishop, there being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:07 p.m.
