1. Motion to go into Executive Session to discuss the pending litigation “Rapides Parish Police Jury vs. the City of Alexandria,” Civil Suit No. 251373-F.
2. Any other business that may properly come before the Police Jury.

Also present were: Chief Randy McCain, Fire District No. 2; Mr. Bruce Kelly, Treasurer; Mr. Tom Wells, Legal Counsel and Ms. Laurel Smith, Secretary.

The invocation was given by Mr. Scott Perry.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Sean McGlothlin.

The Police Jury of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana, was duly convened as the governing authority of said Parish by Hon. Richard Billings, President, who welcomed all present and then stated that the Police Jury was ready for the transaction of business.

The President asked if there was any public comment on any agenda item, to which there was no response.

On motion by Mr. Ollie Overton, seconded by Mr. Craig Smith, to go into Executive Session to discuss the pending litigation “Rapides Parish Police Jury vs. SPECIAL JURY MEETING MARCH 17, 2015

the City of Alexandria,” Civil Suit No. 251373-F.

Roll call vote was as follows:

YEAS: Richard Billings, Craig Smith, Davron “Bubba” Moreau, Joe Bishop, Theodore Fountaine, Jr., Richard Vanderlick, Oliver “Ollie” Overton Jr., Sean McGlothlin, Scott Perry, Jr. NAYS: none ABSTAINED: none ABSENT: none

On roll call vote the motion carried at 10:01 a.m. to go into Executive Session.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

The President called the meeting back in open session at 10:40 a.m.

On motion by Mr. Joe Bishop, seconded by Mr. Ollie Overton, to add the following motion to the agenda:

Motion that the Rapides Parish Police Jury approves the City of Alexandria’s Ordinance introduced on March 16, 2015, pending all Legal Counsels’ approval and with the issuance of all permits pertaining to the Coliseum renovations. Roll call vote was as follows:

YEAS: Richard Billings, Craig Smith, Davron “Bubba” Moreau, Joe Bishop, Theodore Fountaine, Jr., Richard Vanderlick, Oliver “Ollie” Overton, Jr., Sean McGlothlin and Scott Perry, Jr. NAYS: none ABSTAINED: none ABSENT: none On roll call vote the motion carried unanimously 9-0.
