1. Motion to send an emergency request to the Secretary of State Office to relocate the polling place of Voting Precinct S23 from Forest Hill Municipal Building to Forest Hill Gym (Forest Hill Municipal Building under construction both are located in the same parking lot), same address, 138 Blue Lake Road, Forest Hill and authorize submission of the polling place change to the Secretary of State and US Department of Justice for preclearance and authorize the President to sign same. NOTICE OF SPECIAL POLICE JURY MEETING

1. Motion to discuss and relocate displaced polling precinct at Forest Hill Municipal Bldg to Forest Hill Gym. (located next to Forest Hill Municipal Bldg)
2. Motion to discuss and relocate displaced polling precinct at Peabody Magnet High School Gym. (located next to old gym)
3. Any other business that may properly come before the Police Jury.

There were present: Joe Bishop, President, Davron “Bubba” Moreau, Vice President, and Police Jurors Craig Smith, Theodore Fountaine, Jr., Richard Vanderlick, Oliver “Ollie” Overton, Jr., Richard Billings and Scott Perry, Jr.

Members Absent: Sean McGlothlin

Also present were: Mr. Thomas O. Wells, Legal Counsel and Ms. Laurel Smith, Secretary.

The invocation was given by Mr. Scott Perry.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Theodore Fountaine.

The Police Jury of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana, was duly convened as the governing authority of said Parish by Hon. Joe Bishop, President, who welcomed all present and then stated that the Police Jury was ready for the first item of business.

The President asked if there was any Public Comment on any Agenda Item, to which there was no response.

On motion by Mr. Richard Billings, seconded by Mr. Ollie Overton, to send an emergency request to the Secretary of State Office to relocate the polling place of Voting Precinct S23 from Forest Hill Municipal Building to Forest Hill Gym (Forest Hill Municipal Building under construction both are located in the same parking lot), same address, 138 Blue Lake Road, Forest Hill, to advertise change in The Alexandria Daily Town Talk and authorize submission of the polling place change to the Secretary of State and US Department of Justice for preclearance and authorize the President to sign same. On vote the motion carried.
