NOTICE OF SPECIAL POLICE JURY MEETING

1. Motion to amend that certain motion of December 9, 2013, for the Rapides Parish Police Jury to approve the purchase of the following properties participating in the Greenway Park Subdivision Acquisition Project (Hazard CFDA No. 97.039) for the indicated purchase amount, subject to the conditions of the grant.
2. Any other business that may properly come before the Police Jury.

There were present:, Joe Bishop, President, Davron “Bubba” Moreau, Vice President, and Police Jurors Sean McGlothlin, Theodore Fountaine Jr., Scott Perry Jr., Richard Gerald Vanderlick, Oliver "Ollie" Overton Jr., Richard W. Billings

Absent were Police Jurors Mr. Craig Smith.

Also present were Ms. Carrie Robinette, RAPC; Mr. Dennis Woodward, Public Works Director; Tim Ware, Treasurer; Mr. Thomas O. Wells, Legal Counsel; and Ms. Laurel Smith, Secretary.

The invocation was given by Mr. Bubba Moreau.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Richard Vanderlick.

The Police Jury of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana, was duly convened as the governing authority of said Parish by Hon. Joe Bishop, President, who welcomed all present and then stated that the Police Jury was ready for the transaction of business.

The President asked if there was any public comment on any agenda item, to which there was no response.

Mr. Joe Bishop, President read the original motion as follows and explained it needed to be amended:

Motion to amend that certain motion of December 9, 2013, for the Rapides Parish Police Jury to approve the purchase of the following properties participating in the Greenway Park Subdivision Acquisition Project (Hazard CFDA No. 97.039) for the indicated purchase amount, subject to the conditions of the grant.

On motion by Mr. Ollie Overton, seconded by Mr. Richard Billings, to amend that certain motion of December 9, 2013 for Rapides Parish Police Jury to approve the purchase of the following properties participating in the Greenway Park Subdivision Acquisition Project (Hazard Mitigation Grant and authorize the president to sign the Cash Sale, and related documents, for properties located in Greenway Park Subdivision per Plate Book No. 3Alexandria and Page Nos. 72 & 73 with purchase amounts as follows: Property Address Property Owner Purchase Amount Being the property described in Conveyance Book 1478, Page 466, Rapides Parish, Louisiana Ms. Zandra Brown $115,000.00

Being the property described in Conveyance Book 1458, Page 459, Rapides Parish Louisiana Ms. Tracy Frazier $111,000.00

Being the property described in Conveyance Book 1668, Page 675, Rapides Parish, Louisiana Mr. William Frazier $90,000.00 On vote the amended motion carried.
