NOTICE OF SPECIAL POLICE JURY MEETING
- To go into Executive Session to discuss the character and professional competence of Jay Lynch (Barron, Heinberg & Brocato) in accordance with the provisions of LSA R.S. 42.17 (A)(1).
- Any other business that may properly come before the Police Jury
BY ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT

There were present: Honorable Joe Bishop, President; Davron “Bubba” Moreau, Vice President, and Police Jurors Theodore Fountaine, Jr., Sean McGlothlin, Richard Vanderlick, Richard Billings, Oliver “Ollie” Overton, Scott Perry, Jr. and Craig Smith.
The invocation was given by Mr. Richard Billings.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Bubba Moreau.
The Police Jury of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana, was duly convened as the governing authority of said Parish by Honorable Joe Bishop, President, who welcomed all present and stated that the Police Jury was ready for the transaction of business.
On motion by Mr. Richard Billings, seconded by Mr. Richard Vanderlick, to go into Executive Session to discuss the character and professional competence of Jay Lynch (Barron, Heinberg & Brocato) in accordance with the provisions of LSA R.S. 42.17 (A)(1). Mr. Joe Bishop questioned Mr. Jay Lynch if he wanted the session opened to the public or closed, to which Mr. Lynch replied closed.
A roll call vote was called and was as follows: YES NO Joe Bishop Bubba Moreau Craig Smith Theodore Fountaine Richard Vanderlick Ollie Overton Sean McGlothlin Richard Billings, Scott Perry On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously 9-0 at 9:06 a.m.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
On motion by Mr. Richard Vanderlick, seconded by Mr. Sean McGlothlin, to return to Open Session. On vote the motion carried at 10:24 a.m.
The President asked if there was any public comment on any agenda item, to which there was no response.
On motion by Mr. Richard Vanderlick, seconded by Mr. Ollie Overton, that there being no further business, the meeting be declared adjourned. On vote the motion carried at 10:25 a.m.
