NOTICE OF SPECIAL POLICE JURY MEETING
- Hire and fill the Secretary Position at the Rapides Parish Police Jury office.
- Any other business that may properly come before the Police Jury.
BY ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT

There were present: Richard W. Billings, President, Jamie L. Floyd, Vice President, and Police Jurors Richard Vanderlick, Steve Coco, Joe Bishop, Theodore Fountaine Jr., Oliver "Ollie" Overton Jr., and Scott Perry Jr.
Absent was Police Juror John “Buck” Lincecum.
Also present were: Shane Trapp, Courthouse and Jail Building Superintendent; Chief Randy McCain, Fire District No. 2; Donna Andries, Sales and Use Tax Director; Sonya Wiley-Gremillion, OHSEP Director; Elaine Morace, OEWD Director and Laurel Smith, Secretary.
The invocation was given by Mr. Richard Billings.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Steve Coco.
The Police Jury of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana, was duly convened as the governing authority of said Parish by Hon. Richard W. Billings, President, who welcomed all present and then stated that the Police Jury was ready for the transaction of business.
SPECIAL SESSION
JANUARY 3, 2012
The President asked if there was any public comment on any agenda item, to which there was no response.
On motion by Mr. Joe Bishop, seconded by Mr. Theodore Fountaine, to appoint Ms. Angela Voss as the Secretary for the Rapides Parish Police Jury at a rate of pay of $40,000 a year. On vote the motion carried.
On motion by Mr. Joe Bishop, seconded by Mr. Scott Perry, that there being no further business, the meeting be declared adjourned. On vote the motion carried at 2:38 p.m.
