NOTICE OF SPECIAL POLICE JURY MEETING

1. Election of President and Vice President of the Rapides Parish Police Jury.
2. No other business will be conducted at this meeting. BY ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT

Police Jurors John "Buck" Lincecum, Joe Bishop, Theodo re Fountaine Jr., Richard Gerald Vanderlick, Oliver "Ollie" Overton Jr., Steve Coco and Scott Perry Jr.

Also present were Mr. Tim Ware, Treasurer; Ms. Donna Andries, Sales Tax Administrator; Mr. Jason Parks, OEWD Director; Mr. Shannon Trapp, Courthouse a nd Jail Building Superintendent; Chief Randy McCain, Fire District No. 2; Mr. Thomas O. Wells, Legal Counsel; and Ms. Angie Richmond, Secretary.

The invocation was given by Mr. Buck Lincecum.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Richard Vanderlick.

The Police Jury of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana, was duly convened as the governing authority of said Parish by Hon. Richard W. Billings, President, who welcomed all present and then stated that the Police Jury was ready for the transaction of business.

The President asked if there was any public comment on any agenda item, to which there was no response.

Motion by Mr. Buck Lincecum, seconded by Mr. Jamie Floyd, to nominate Mr. Joe Bishop as President.

Motion by Mr. Ollie Overton, se conded by Mr. Theodore Fountaine, to nominate Mr. Richard Billings as President.

A roll call vote was called and was as follows: Mr. Bishop Mr. Billings Buck Lincecum Richard Billings Joe Bishop Scott Perry Jamie Floyd Theodore Fountaine Steve Coco Richard Vanderlick Ollie Overton On roll call vote Mr. Richard Billings was elected President for the year 2011.

Motion by Mr. Richard Billings, seconded by Mr. Ollie Overton, to nominate Mr. Richard Vanderlick as Vice President.

Motion by Mr. Buck Lincecum, seconded by Mr. Joe Bishop, to nominate Mr. Jamie Floyd as Vice President.

A roll call vote was called and was as follows: Mr. Vanderlick Mr. Floyd Richard Billings Buck Lincecum Scott Perry Joe Bishop Richard Vanderlick Jamie Floyd Ollie Overton Theodore Fountaine Steve Coco On roll call vote Mr. Jamie Floyd was elected Vice President for the year 2011.

Mr. Billings presented a plaque to Mr. Scott Perry for his service as Vice President of the Rapides Parish Police Jury for 2010. Mr. Perry presented a plaque to Mr. Richard Billings for his service as President of the Rapides Parish Police Jury for 2010.

On motion by Mr. Theodore Fountaine, seconded by Mr. Buck Lincecum, that there being no further business, the meeting be declared adjourned. On vote the motion carried at 3:38 p.m.
