The England Eco nomic and Industrial Development District met in Regular Session at the England Authority Board Room, 1611 Arnold Drive, England Industrial Airpark and Community Alexandria, Louisiana, on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 5:44 p.m.

Richard Bushnell, Charlie DeWitt, Dennis Frazier, Curman Gaines and Charlie Weems.

Also present were: Members of the England Authority staff and legal counsel.

Absent: William Barron, Brady Baudin

Commissioner Bushnell gave the invocation and Commissioner Frazier led the Pledge of Allegiance.

England Economic and Industrial Development District was duly convened as the governing authority of said District by Mr. Jones, who then stated that the England Economic and Industrial Development District was ready for the transaction of business.

Chairman Jones asked for a motion to approve consent calendar for items #1 through #4.

Motion by Mr. Bushnell, second by Mr. Johnson, to approve consent calendar for items #1 through #14.

The Chair called for any comments from the public. There being none, a vote was called and motion carried.

MOTION TO APPROVE MINUTES OF JUNE 26, 2014, REGULAR BOARD MEETING. Motion by Mr. Bushnell, second by Mr. Johnson, to approve minutes of June 26, 2014, regular board meeting. The Chair called for any comments from the public. There being none, a vote was called and motion carried. 057-2014

MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF ATTORNEY’S BILL TO PROVOSTY, SADLER, DELAUNAY, FIORENZA & SOBEL FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE 2014. Motion by Mr. Bushnell, second by Mr. Johnson, to approve payment of attorney’s bill to Provosty, Sadler, deLaunay, Fiorenza & Sobel for the month of June, 2014. The Chair called for any comments from the public. There being none, a vote was called and motion carried. 058-2014

MOTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GEO GROUP, INC., AND EEIDD FOR BUILDING #1905. Motion by Mr. Bushnell, second by Mr. Johnson, to authorize Executive Director to execute lease agreement between the Geo Group, Inc., and EEIDD for Building #1905. The Chair called for any comments from the public. There being none, a vote was called and motion carried. 059-2014

MOTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ADVERTISE FOR THE REMOVAL OF WILDLIFE HAZARDS CONSISTING OF 301 ACRES OF TREES ON WEST SIDE OF AIRFIELD. Motion by Mr. Bushnell, second by Mr. Johnson, to authorize Executive Director to advertise for the removal of wildlife hazards consisting of 301 acres of trees on west side of airfield. The Chair called for any comments from the public. There being none, a vote was called and motion carried. 060-2014

• H. Staff Report – Mr. Grafton briefed board on the following:
• a. Financial Report: 101.4% of revenues collected and expended 94.91% of budget.
• b. Air Traffic Report: Down 6% in June for Commercial Air. Delta Airlines will keep larger flight through December, 2014.

There being no further business to come before the Board, meeting was adjourned at 5:49 p.m.
