The England Economic and Industrial Development District met in Special Session at its regular meeting place, the England Authority Board Room, 1611 Arnold Drive, England Industrial Airpark and Community, Alexandria, Louisiana, on Wednesday , September 23, 2009, at 12:05 p.m. (Central Standard Time).

There were present: Mr. Richard Bushnell , Chairman; Mr. William Barron, Mr. Brady Baudin, Mr. Wayne Denley, Mr. Dennis Frazier, Mr. Curman Gaines, Mr. Bart Jones and Mr. Scott Linzay.

Absent: Mr. Lance Harris, Mr. Charlie Weems

Also present were: Mr. Jon Grafton, Executive Director, members of the England Authority staff, legal counsel, and members of the public.

Commissioner Gaines gave the invocation and Commissioner Frazier led the Pledge of Allegiance.

The England Economic and Industrial Development District was duly convened as the governing authority of said District by Mr. Richard Bushnell , Chairman, who then stated that the England Economic and Industrial Development District was ready for the transaction of business.

MOTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ACCEPT GRANT #3-22-0003-043-2009 FROM FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING NEW FUEL FARM (PHASE 1, DESIGN OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS) IN THE AMOUNT OF $570,000.00. Motion by Mr. Gaines, second by Mr. Frazier, to authorize Executive Director to accept grant #3-22-0003043-2009 from Federal Aviation Administration for the purpose of constructing new Fuel Farm (Phase I, Design of plans and specifications) in the amount of $570,000.00. On vote, motion carried. 071-2009

There being no further business to come before the board, the meeting was adjourned.
