The England Economic and Industrial Development District Board of Commissioners Regular Session April 27, 2006

The England Economic and Industrial Development District met in Regular Session at the England Authority Board Room, 1611 Arnold Drive, England Industrial Airpark and Community, Alexandria, Louisiana, on Thursday, April 27, 2006. There were present: Mr. Wayne Denley, Chairman; Mr. Curman Gaines, Vice-Chairman; Mr. William Barron, Ms. Bridgett Brown, Mr. Richard Bushnell, Mr. Lance Harris, and Mr. Charles Waites. Absent: Mr. Martin Johnson, Mr. Kit Provine, Mr. Mike Tudor Also present were: Members of the England Authority staff, legal counsel, and members of the public, press and media. Commissioner Bushnell gave the invocation and Commissioner Harris led the Pledge of Allegiance. England Economic and Industrial Development District was duly convened as the governing authority of said District by Mr. Wayne Denley, Chairman, who then stated that the England Economic and Industrial Development District was ready for the transaction of business. MOTION TO APPROVE MINUTES FROM THE MARCH 23, 2006 REGULAR BOARD MEETING. Motion by Ms. Brown, second by Mr. Waites, to approve Minutes from the March 23, 2006, regular Board Meeting. On vote, motion carried. 055-2006 MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF PROVOSTY BILL FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH 2006. Motion by Mr. Bushnell, second by Ms. Brown, to approve payment of Provosty bill for the month of March, 2006. On vote, motion carried. 056-2006 MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF ATTORNEY’S BILL TO THE MUNSTERMAN LAW FIRM FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH, 2006. Motion by Ms. Brown, second by Mr. Barron, to approve payment of attorney’s bill to the Munsterman Law Firm for the month of March, 2006. On vote, motion carried. 057-2006 ADDITIONS TO AGENDA (BY 2/3 VOTE) Comments by Legal Counsel – None Comments or Questions by Commissioners – None Staff Report – a. Executive Director – Financial Report – The Executive Director presented detailed financial report to board. Comparative Air Traffic Report - Air Traffic for Continental and Northwest was a little sluggish last month, but ASA is up. Slightly down for the year at this point, but can change on a monthly basis. Public Comments or Questions – None There being no further business to come before the Board, meeting was adjourned.
