What verification checks
- Hash — the file's SHA-256 matches the published release. (Live)
- Content Credentials (C2PA) — an embedded, signed authenticity manifest. (With signing certificate)
- Digital signature — the file is signed by Kingfish's key. (With signing certificate)
- Timestamp — independent proof of the release date (OpenTimestamps). (With signing certificate)
Even when the invisible seals are stripped (e.g. by a screenshot), the printed footer — “Released by Kingfish Media · verify at kingfish.la/verify” — still carries the message. See the document library.
