Public Works Department to complete the job if a contractor is unable to complete the job in a timely manner or if it is cost prohibitive. (Mr. Wiggins)
- Motion to authorize the Purchasing Agent to receive price quotes and award to the lowest bidder for various road improvements on Monk Road, cost not to exceed $140,000.00. Project to be funded by Road District 6A, District H. (Mr. Giles)
- Motion to authorize cleanup of garbage, trash, weeds and debris at 249 McConnell Drive, Pineville, LA and authorize legal counsel to invoice the property owner for cost of cleanup. Public Works Department to complete the job if a contractor is unable to complete the job in a timely manner or if it is cost prohibitive. (Mr. Wiggins)

- Motion to accept Project No. 3321, Project No. 3322 and Project No. 3324 – District C Road Improvements – Act 776 Appropriation, PAE Job No. 13181, as “Substantially Complete” and final payment to be made upon satisfactory completion of punch list items and presentation of Clear Lien Certificate and authorize the Parish President to sign all necessary documents, as recommended by Pan American Engineers, LLC. (Mr. Smith)
- Motion to authorize cleanup of garbage, trash, weeds and debris at 125 Williams Road, Pineville, LA and authorize legal counsel to invoice the property owner for cost of cleanup. Public Works Department to complete the job if a contractor is unable to complete the job in a timely manner or if it is cost prohibitive. (Mr. Harris)
- Motion to receive proposals to conduct a comprehensive efficiency study of the Public Works Department and provide a report to the Jury when complete. (Mr. Smith)

- Motion to authorize to renew the Worker’s Compensation Policy for Rapides Parish Fire District No. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 for Policy Period beginning January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026, as recommended by the Purchasing Agent and Treasurer. (Mr. Overton)
- Motion to approve a professional services contract with SSA Consultants to conduct a comprehensive study of the Rapides Parish Civil Service employee’s compensation plan and classifications and authorize the President to sign the contact, subject to approval of legal counsel. (Mr. Overton)
- Motion to approve the name change of the part-time maintenance position to part-time firefighter and update the job duties accordingly for Rapides Parish Fire District No. 10 – Plainview Volunteer Fire Department, starting hourly pay is $10.50 per hour, not to exceed 32 hours per week, as recommended by the Fire Chief and approved by the Plainview Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors on November 9, 2025. (Mr. Giles)
- Motion to opt out of th e statewide solar si ghting requirements under Act 279 of the 2025 Regular Legislative Session, as recommended by Rapides Area Planning Commission. (Mr. Smith)
